About Cory Centric the owner of Home of Afro House & The Afrocentric Event Brand An experienced DJ, record collector and connoisseur of music. Cory began DJing in the late 80s playing funk, disco and soul before making his name on the underground House music scene in London during the late 90s. By the turn of the century Cory ran two successful House music club nights in his hometown of London and began nurturing the idea of starting up his own record label which would produce and release consistent quality house music “NO FILLERS” to keep people on the dance floor. This label would later become the well known Centric Music. A chance meeting at the 2003 Winter Music Conference in Miami, brought Cory’s unique style of play, to the attention of one of the UK’s top clubbing brands, the infamous Kinky Malinki. Within 6 months Cory had become one of their main room resident DJs, gracing the decks at some of the world’s most famous clubs including Ministry of Sound, Pacha (London) El Divino (Ibiza), The Cross, Egg, Wagg Club (Paris), Pappaya (Croatia), and Zinc (Dubai) to name just a few. Throughout the years Cory would play for several leading club nights and House music brands such as Clockwork Orange, Soul On The Beach (Miami), Tribe and Garage City. A versatile DJ, Cory is able to dominate the dance floor wether it's playing a lively main room set or warming up for the likes of Todd Terry, Kenny Dope, Hardsoul, Grant Nelson, DJ Spen, Moodymanc, Charles Webster, or Audiowhores. Cory moved to Dubai in 2011 and began Djing on the underground house scene launching his own “No Fillers” party and from 2013 to 2015 as resident for House of Afrika where he played alongside the likes of Osunlade, Shimza, and Black Motion. Late 2015 Afrocentric was born in a short space of time it has become the number 1 Afro House and Afro Beat party in the middle east hosting guest such as Ralf Gum, Monique Bingham, Da Capo, Aluku Rebels, Vanco and Bucie.

His DJing style has been described as “Chugging house that keeps you moving" and “Slick and Smart” by Dj magazine. Expect Heavy Baselines, Chunky beats with accapella’s thrown in for good measure. Centric Music With an ethos of Quality House Music "NO FILLERS" Cory continues to spread the house sound not only via his DJ sets but with the creation of his record label Centric Music, spreading that ethos via his DJ sets and radio show he has hosted on Push FM (UK) Radio 1 (Greece) and Play FM His record label Centric Music has had pleasure of releasing music from the likes of, Jamie Anderson, Kiko Navarro, DJ Rocco, Delano Smith, Paulo Fierro, Elef, Brothers Vibe, Dazzle Drums, Jay J and DJ Fudge and has featured on respected compilation like Karavan (Ibiza) and Soul Kandi (SA) Home of Afro House Extending the vibe of the Afrocentric Party to his new label in a short space of time Home of Afro House has become a high respected label in the house scene and has released music by Dazzle Drums, Enoo Napa, Xtetiqsoul, Vanco with remixes from the likes of John Tejada, Martin Landsky, Luis Radio and Pastor Snow. Home of Afro House is also the home to Cory’s production having remixed a number of releases on the label
